My infographic for the educational technologies class is to create an infographic about web 2.0 tools, which allow people to express themselves and work in collaboration, using creativity.

We were supposed to choose our three favorite web 2.0 tools. The web 2.0 tools I chose are Canva, Padlet and Pixton. I explained how they are used and what are the opportunities they provide for people. In a century, in which technology and creativity take a huge place like that, those tools are very helpful for collaborative activities and stuff.

Let's Create a Magazine Cover!

Hello folks, today I will share my assignment which is about creating a poster. It could be whether creating a movie poster or a magazine cover. I chose to create a magazine cover, as I am not into those kind of magazinish things, it was a big challenging task for me to accomplish, but here I am, very proud of completing my cover :)
I made my cover by using Canva. The name of my magazine is Nitid. And I chose one of my favorite singers for the cover, Taylor Swift. I was inspired from some other covers and added some titles for my magazine, I created my logo. It was all fun for me to design something. You can have a look at it:

Digital Storytelling

Hello everyone! This week's assignment is to create a digital storytelling. With my friends, Rıdvan and Mete, we decided to create a Public Service Announcement (PSA) by using storytelling. We used this in order to make people be aware of cyberbullying and make them save their children and themselves from this crime. We used a video on which we edited our voice records. This video includes children who are being exposed to cyberbullying, and it warn us not to be both cyberbully and the victim. For this reason, we thought that it would be a good awareness to convey with our assignment. I hope you enjoy, here is the link of our Public Service Assignment project:

It's Padlet Time!

Hi everyone! For this week, our assignment is to create a Padlet with our group of four. Padlet allows both teachers and students to share their ideas about certain subjects. And our task is to choose a subject, to create a Padlet with three columns. For the first column, we write ''what we know'' about the subject. For the second column, we write ''what do we want to know'' about the subject. And for the last column, we write ''what we learned'' about the subject. So, we chose migration for our assignment. Everyone should write three sentences for each column.
I wrote the definition of migration, to which cities migration happens mostly, and the biggest migration happened in history, for the first column.
For the second one, i wrote ''what are the reasons for migration?'', ''what are the kinds of migration?'' and ''what are the results of migration?''.
For the final column, i wrote the answers of the questions above.
It was very beneficial for me insofar as i had to make researches for the questions of which answers i wanted to know. And it is one of the applications which i will definitely use for my future classes in order to make my students wonder and research for their own learning.

Saving the Earth

Hello everyone, in this post, you will be listening my 1 min podcast about how to change the world. It feels very encouraging to express my ideas with people who will visit my blog. I did not have any difficulties, and i would use podcasting  in the future, with my students, because it will ease the interaction.

The Use Of RSS

  Sometimes it can be difficult to try to find new things which are posted by bloggers. RSS (Really  Simple Syndication), enables you to achieve information, posts and so on which have just been shared by the bloggers of whose blogs you are following. The only thing you should do is to paste the link of the blog there and that is it! When something is shared on the blog, you will be able to see this easily.

    I have been using FeedReader recently.
    As you can see, I am following Eva Buyuksimkesyan, AustadLife, Nora Johanssen and so on. Let's have a look at Eva Buyuksimkesyan's blog, ''A Journey in TEFL''.
    Her blog is one of my favorites. One of the themes that compose the blog is the activities which teachers can use during the lesson time. Vocabulary games, end of the year activities, games for the classroom, and so on. The reason I follow this blog is that I know that it can be very useful when I become a teacher, and when I run out of creative activities :) Therefore, I know that this is a blog which teachers should follow!
